Azaik

The Azaik are a Class 5 Species not only are they highly intelligent but they are now overpopulating their planet at an alarming rate. The Azaik took it upon themselves to destroy the predatory species that hunted them down. Without the giant monster creatures keeping their population in check The Azaik who usually lay 5 to 10 eggs now double their population every 5 years. The overpopulation problems has made malnutrition the highest cause of death. In some areas they have turned to cannibalism to survive.
The Azaik are a an amphibious species. with chameleon like qualities. they are able to change the color and pattern on their skin to match their surroundings.

Description: Amphibious creatures in a variety of bright colors with long legs used for swimming. They have sharp teeth which they use to Hunt small animals. They build their homes on top of trees bordering a river or a lake. The loop like end to their tail has many uses. They can use it to hold their eggs as they travel or to hang from a tree. The horns and spikes on their backs are only made to look menacing. they are not hard they are actually very soft and squishy.
